Have you ever heard the expression "there's more than one way to skin a cat"? That's awful, right? Who wants to skin a cat? Not me, they're so darn cute! But the idea of the expression is that there can be more than one way to solve the very same problem and get the same result.

So far, you've learned about some visual ways to multiply decimals by decimals and to multiply decimals by whole numbers. Your teacher is going to review those with you. And your teacher is also going to show you a new way to multiply decimals by whole numbers (spoiler alert - it involves moving decimal points… to the left, to the left!).
